1. General
    1. The following terms and conditions shall apply to all trading between Wild Meadow Ltd and the client. Acceptance by Wild Meadow Ltd of the client’s request for work is conditional upon acceptance by the client of the following terms and conditions. No variation of these terms and conditions shall be binding unless otherwise agreed by Wild Meadow Ltd in writing.
  1. Payment
    1. Full payment is required within 14 days of the date printed on the invoice.
    2. Failure to pay by the date shall result in interest charged at 10% and every  calendar month thereafter for a maximum of three months, when the matter shall be passed on to a debt collection agency.
    3. Wild Meadow Ltd reserves the right to charge 50% of the cost of expensive materials in advance, at the Company’s discretion.
    4. All invoices are subject to VAT at the current rate at date of invoice.
  1. Price Fluctuations
      1. Prices quoted on any estimate may be subject to variation without notice.
  1. Estimates and Costs
    1. All prices stated are estimated prices and not final unless agreed in writing in advance.
    2. Quantities for materials and labour are calculated as accurately as possible based on the initial survey, but may be subject to change if necessary without notice, in order to fulfil the client’s brief, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
    3. Initial survey and estimates are free of charge within a 20 mile radius of Wild Meadow Ltd’s office address. However, if site testing or a third party are involved, the client will be liable for any costs incurred.
    4. Labour will be charged per hour, to the nearest completed hour until the job requested is completed, unless a fixed price has bee agreed in writing in advance.
    5. If a final price has been agreed in writing in advance, any additional works will be charged at extra cost to the client.
    6. If the client’s brief is changed during or after commencement of work the client will be liable for any extra cost incurred by Wild Meadow Ltd.
    7. The client will be liable for any extra costs incurred in labour and/or materials due to dealing with unforeseeable circumstances which may cause changes to the intial brief (e.g. obstacles, utilities or adverse geology/flora).
  1. Guarantee of Work
    1. Wild Meadow Ltd will be liable for defects in work arising to poor workmanship or defective materials for 12 months from date of invoice providing the work has not been :Tampered with, altered, added to, damaged by circumstances beyond Wild Meadow Ltd’s control (e.g. Acts of God, adverse weather, damage by third parties, neglect), or exposed to use beyond reasonable expectations.
    2. Wild Meadow Ltd will not be liable for aftercare of materials and living plant items unless there is an agreed contract of aftercare with the client.
